Sunglasses , in addition to their aesthetic function, have the fundamental task of protecting the eyes from sun damage , in particular that caused by ultraviolet (UV) rays of sunlight. Original glasses with CE certification guarantee adequate protection against UVA and UVB rays, while it is always risky to use counterfeit products of dubious origin.
Contrary to what you might think, darker lenses do not necessarily offer greater protection .
